If you have previously worked as a Laborer in a geographical location(s) outside of Northern California, there may be Pension and/or Annuity contributions made to other trust funds in your name by employers from those locations. If this applies to you, identifying the Local Union(s) you worked through is important. If you apply for a Northern California Laborers Pension, it is in your best interests to notify us regarding work in other areas. Using the LiUNA National Reciprocal Agreement, it can be possible to use credits earned in these various locations toward your Pension upon retirement.
